Shows and movies with the tunnel on

Turn the dial to a city near you, flip the switch, press play. Passes carry no data allowance and nobody gets slowed for heavy use, so a long weekend of episodes looks the same to us as a single trailer. Below you'll find server choice, getting a TV connected, and the point where a VPN stops helping.

Does watching a lot use up my pass?

It doesn't. Basic, Plus and Pro have no monthly gigabyte figure, and no rule kicks in after some threshold. A 4K movie and an afternoon of background music are both simply uncounted.

To your internet provider, the connection is one encrypted flow heading to our server. It can't tell a video from a web page inside that flow, which makes slowing down only video at peak hours much harder.

Which server gives smoother playback?

Distance matters more than anything. When the picture stalls, move the dial to a closer city before changing other settings.

Still stalling? Switch to another server in that same city, and leave protocol changes for last. On home internet, WireGuard is usually the quickest of the three.

  • Start with WireGuard
  • A short hop: the city closest to you, or to the region you need
  • If it stutters: same city on another server, then a neighboring city

How do I get the TV connected?

An Android TV app is in preparation and hasn't been released. Once it's out, accounts with a VPN pass that still has days on it will see it under My info > Get the apps, and the TV signs in with your account email or token.

A TV or set-top box with no app store goes through the router instead. When our router WireGuard file is ready, load it once and everything on that Wi-Fi rides the tunnel. Your pass counts the router as a single device.

What can't a VPN change?

Streaming companies choose which titles each country gets, and many of them detect VPN addresses and refuse them. A show that plays this week might stop next week, so we promise nothing about any service or title.

Each subscription has its own rulebook, and it's worth a look. Some countries also restrict VPNs by law, which is worth looking up before a trip.

Common questions

Can I watch another country's lineup?

No guarantees here. Each streaming company draws its own region lines, many of them filter VPN traffic, and their terms are the ones you agreed to.

Will a night of 4K eat into my pass?

It won't. No pass has a data allowance, so the hours you watch never matter.

Is there a limit on screens at home?

Six on Basic, ten on Plus and twelve on Pro, all at the same moment. A living room TV and a few family phones still leave room on Basic.
